I am going to enjoy the conclusion of the series once it reveals itself, this issue leaves on a gigantic cliffhanger, as big as a giant corpse protruding from the Moon! (I somehow missed reviewing issues 2 and 3, sorry about that).
After a race of giants emerged from deep sleep beneath the Earth, a bloody conflict ensued in what became known as The Omega Event. Through issues 1 to 4 you see that the detective Gyant has had his fair share of action in this event, and might hold scars from it. He will not be the only one.
Detectives Tamaki (a human) and Gyant are investigating a series of mysterious murders of both humans and giants that appear to be related. There is a giant with schizofrenia, or is it a human? Giants communicate telepathically, but Gyant can speak to humans out loud and has special permission to visit the land of small people.
The story is built like a puzzle box, whenever you reveal one thing, another emerges, and it seems that it is all a trap, made by whom? And why?
The Omega Event and the tentative peace, perhaps, did not get off to a good start and traumatic things must be remembered. Giants loved the taste of human flesh, after all.
And to add anguish to the plot, at the macro level, a giant corpse has emerged from the moon and it is hurling towards Earth, will this be the end of the Human and Giant race alike?
