‘Rogue’ Enters the Dungeon With ‘Quest’s End’ Whiskey’s Latest Offering

D&D Adventures Gaming Products

Last Fall, I had a chance to interview actor, gamer, and entrepreneur Matthew Lillard about one of his latest endeavors: the launch of Quest’s End, a line of high-end whiskey for both tabletop roleplayers and whiskey aficionados. His company Find Familiar Spirits’ first release, Quest’s End: Paladin, was a rousing success, selling through its initial run and leading to a second run, which also sold out.

Due to a series of misadventures with FedEx which are too long and aggravating to recount here, I sadly was not able to obtain a sample of Paladin before that second batch had also sold out. However, I did have a tasting with my local D&D group, and everyone there loved the smooth, rich quality of the whiskey.

It was always the goal of Find Familiar Spirits to release additional whiskeys with different flavor profiles following Paladin. The first new release for 2024 is Rogue. As with Paladin, Quest’s End: Rogue will be accompanied by a new chapter of the original fantasy saga Dawn of the Unbound Gods, written by Kate Welch with illustrated by fantasy artist Tyler Jacobson. As for its flavor notes, to quote the press release:

Each numbered, limited bottle offers rich notes of vanilla alongside bright baked apple/jammy fruit and cooling herbaceous notes to create a balanced aroma and finish, in keeping with the smoothness and blending ability of a Rogue.

Quest’s End: Rogue will become available to purchase starting Thursday, February 29th for $149.99 at the Quest’s End website. And if you don’t want to wait that long, you can still sign up for stealth presale access which just started today!
